Moran joined the YouTuber group Our2ndLife in August 2012, along with Connor Franta, JC Caylen, Kian Lawley, Rick Dillon, and Sam Pottorff, and the group amassed three million subscribers before disbanding in December 2014.
Moran first gained attention in 2012, when she auditioned for The X Factor with the LMFAO song “Sexy and I Know It” (2011) at the age of thirteen. Moran received four judges’ votes but was eliminated during the “Boot Camp” stage. She was then chosen to participate in the live auditions in San Francisco.
