He also appeared as United States Air Force Major Allen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe feature films Iron Man and Iron Man 2, and as struggling father and retired major Clay Wilson in the first season of the streaming television series The Punisher.

Tim Guinee Iron Man
Guinee starred as Major Allen in both Iron Man and Iron Man 2. In the Punisher episodes Kandahar and Crosshairs, he played Clay Wilson. Major Allen is a United States Air Force officer. Major Allen was present at Edwards Air Force Base in California when the United States Air Force first detected Iron Man. He ordered two F-22 Raptors to destroy Iron Man, mistaking it for an unmanned aerial vehicle. Allen was also present when James Rhodes delivered the Iron Man Armor: Mark II to Edwards and Justin Hammer weaponized it.
Lewis Wilson, the unstable veteran, is the father of Clay Wilson. Wilson returned home and asked his son to check on him as he walked through the house. Wilson was almost killed as he approached the basement bedroom steps, a round hitting the wall inches from his body. Wilson quickly embraced Lewis and tried to console him, assuring him that everything was fine. Lewis, on the other hand, was pushed away, refusing to accept that the situation was fine and seeing himself as a danger to his father.

He appeared as railroad entrepreneur Collis Huntington in AMC’s Hell on Wheels. From November 6, 2011, to July 23, 2016, AMC aired Hell on Wheels. Collis P. Huntington is one of the Central Pacific Railroad’s owners.
Tim Guinee Revolution
He appeared as Ben Matheson, Charlie and Danny’s father in the American post-apocalyptic science fiction television series Revolution. He and Rachel were the first to develop the nano-robot technology that caused the blackout, which was later researched and developed by other scientists such as Grace, John, and others. Originally intended as a cheap green energy source, the project’s failure had the unintended consequence of suppressing all electronic activity within a given radius.
Ben was able to warn his family in Chicago and his brother Miles moments before the blackout occurred as the nano-bots spread out of control after the US Department of Defense deployed them in a conflict zone. He was murdered in the first episode by the Monroe Militia fifteen years later, and shortly before his death, he sent his daughter to find his brother Miles in Chicago to help her find and rescue Danny.
