The Taylors live in Detroit suburb and have a neighbor called Wilson, who frequently is the person to solve their problems. In 2002, in The Santa Clause 2, he took over his role as Scott Calvin. In 2006, Zoom was released, starring Allen as Jack Shepard. In the role of the conservative father MikeBaxter who struggled for his manhood in a house filled with women, Allen came back to ABC with the sitcom Last man. After six seasons, the show was canceled in May 2017.
