In 2013, Jibawi joined the Vine clan. His first vine video posted in August 2013 was entitled “When sounds disturb your dreams.” His video went viral and started to multiply exponentially across Facebook and other social media pages and his followers. There are not so many of his vine videos, but the material in his videos is original and exclusive, which has helped him harness so many qualitative content-based followers. On YouTube, he has over 5.72 million subscribers and over 7.2 million Instagram followers. He is managed by Shots Studios’ John Shahidi. To make videos, he collaborated with Shots Studios and launched his YouTube channel in July 2016.
Jibawi helped launch Mike Tyson’s YouTube page in January 2017 and he and Tyson have worked on each other’s channels frequently. With Rudy Mancuso, Mariah Carey, and DJ Khaled, Jibawi also had a part in the movie Keys of Christmas. John Shahidi of Shots Studios, a company that also produces his YouTube content, manages Jibawi. Dolce & Gabbana invited him to walk on June 17, 2017, at their Milan Men’s Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2018 show. Jibawi directed the music video for Anitta’s Vai Malandra by Alesso and KO: YU in February 2018. In one of his recent videos titled ‘Best Excuse Ever,’ Jibawi also featured wrestling legend, Ric Flair.
Jibawi directed the music video for singer Aitana and Lele Pons ‘Teléfono in November 2018, which crossed over 35 million YouTube views. Jibawi launched a new series on Instagram’s new IGTV platform in June 2018, One Star with Anwar, where he reviews horrible products found online shopping.
