When she finished in second place on the first season of Top Chef, Faison became famous for her cooking. She then competed in a cooking competition with just one episode called 4 Star All Stars. In this competition, four contestants from the first season of Top Chef—Stephen Asprinio, Dieterle, David Martin, and Faison—were pitted against four contestants from the second season—Elia Aboumrad, Ilan Hall, Sam Talbot, and Marcel Vigneron. The winning menu was awarded to Faison’s team, who also received a donation of $20,000 to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure charity. On June 6, 2007, this episode aired on Bravo.
