She tried out for the role of ‘Vanessa Huxtable,’ the fourth child of the show’s main characters, Cliff and Clair Huxtable. The ‘Huxtable’ family represented a very loving and prosperous family who cared for each other and shared a very strong bond. From 1884 to 1992, Bledsoe was a regular on the show.
Following her professional debut on television with ‘The Cosby Show,’ she appeared as Grace Williams in the ‘ABC Afterschool Specials’, in the episode titled ‘The Gift of Amazing Grace’ of the fifteenth season, in 1986.
