Reade, a former Senate staff employee accuses Joe Biden of sexually assaulting her in 1993, and she recorded a restricted report with a congressional faculty office that didn’t expressly blame him for rape or badgering. A 1993 clasp of a Larry King CNN show surfaces. A lady who was brought into the show that year, recognized as from the city where Reade’s mom would have been inhabiting the time, said her little girl was having “issues” with “an unmistakable congressperson” and needed proposals other than heading off to the press. She didn’t specify any names nor give subtleties. Reade has since heard the account and said it was her mother, who kicked the bucket in 2016.
April 27: Business Insider reports that Tara Reade’s neighbor in the mid-1990s said that Reade advised her Biden had “put his hand up her skirt and he put his fingers inside her,” which is the thing that Reade blames Biden for doing. This neighbor was eager to go on the record with her name. “I discussed it,” Lynda LaCasse disclosed to Business Insider. LaCasse lived close to Reade in California in 1995-to 1996, where Reade moved in the wake of working in Washington. She affirmed her remarks in an instant message to The Post, saying she is “an extremely solid Democrat and am supporting Joe Biden during this political race.”
