Storyline
Marjorie, a young woman, is attacked in her home by a would-be rapist named Raul, but she manages to turn the tables on him by tying him up in her fireplace. When her roommates return home, they find the attacker bound with cords, belts, and other household items.
Terry and Patricia, the roommates, have opposing views on rape in society. Terry, who was a rape victim as a teenager, believes Raul will not be convicted because a rape did not occur and there is no proof. Patricia has faith in the legal system and insists on calling the cops. Raul’s stalking of the three friends causes them to turn on each other at various points throughout the play. For example, near the beginning of the play, Raul informs Terry that Marjorie has been having an affair with Terry’s boyfriend.

Storyline
