Steven Weber is a comedian and actor from the United States. He is best known for his portrayal of Brian Hackett on the NBC television series Wings, which ran from April 1990 to May 1997. In third grade, Weber began appearing in television commercials. His first film was the 1981 Hungarian animation adventure comedy film ‘The Little Fox,’ in which he voiced the main character, Vuk.

Steven Weber began working in television commercials when he was in third grade. After graduating from college, he joined the Mirror Repertory Company, where he collaborated on several productions with renowned actress Geraldine Page. His first film was the 1981 Hungarian animation adventure comedy film ‘The Little Fox,’ in which he voiced the main character, Vuk (English version). He made an appearance in a season three episode of the PBS anthology series ‘American Playhouse’ in 1984. Later that year, he made his film debut as Paul Hirsch in Gary Marshall’s ‘The Flamingo Kid,’ directed by Gary Marshall.

In the 1990 television miniseries ‘The Kennedys of Massachusetts,’ he played the late US President John F. Kennedy.
Weber made his Broadway debut in Tom Stoppard’s ‘The Real Thing’ (1984-85). In 2001-02, he took over as Leo Bloom in the Broadway production of ‘The Producers,’ replacing Matthew Broderick. In 2005, he co-starred with Kevin Spacey in the Old Vic’s production of “National Anthems” in London. Weber has also appeared in the films ‘The Philanthropist (2009) and ‘The Parisian Woman’ (2009). (2013). He starred as Jonathan Harker in Mel Brooks’ spoof comedy horror film ‘Dracula: Dead and Loving It’ in 1995. For his performance as Jack Torrance in the 1997 television miniseries ‘The Shining,’ based on Stephen King’s 1977 novel, Between 1985 and 1986, he co-starred in CBS’ daytime drama series ‘As the World Turns’ with Julianne Moore as her ill-fated boyfriend.

In the first season of ABC’s romance drama series ‘Once and Again,’ Weber played the recurring character Samuel Blue. He joined the main cast in the third season. He voiced several characters in the Disney animated series ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ between 2012 and 2017. He played Vaughn du Clark in 11 episodes of The CW’s iZombie. He has also played memorable recurring characters in shows such as “House of Lies,” “Get Shorty,” and “Channel Zero.”
Weber is currently starring in the Netflix series ’13 Reasons Why’ as Principal Gary Bolan (2017-present). He will appear in the upcoming films “You Above All” and “Allan the Dog.”
