Julia requested a divorce in February 2022. According to Us Weekly, she was fired from her position as CEO of EWG in the midst of the proceedings. Later that month, she filed a lawsuit, claiming she was a co-owner of EWG, which she claimed Silvio named her as after they married. The judge dismissed her case.
