In 2012, he released Law, his third mixtape, which was featured on Complex’s list of 10 New DMV Rappers. His fourth mixtape, Fly Money, was released in November 2012 as a collaborative project with Jose Guapo. Shy was then named by Fact in 2014 as one of the top ten rappers to watch in the same year. His seventh mixtape Young Fefe was dropped on February 17.
His mixtape featured other hip-hop acts like Young Scooter, Pee Wee, Longway, Young Thug and Gudda Gudda. Glizzy’s single Awsome became the biggest single of his career. The single made him appear on the top 45 United States Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Charts. The remix of Awesome featured ASAP ROCKY and 2 Chainz. Therefore gaining over 760,000 streams. In January 2017, he was able to release an EP titled The World is Yours under his other stage name Jefe. Critics described his Ep as energetic in a hollow way. In September 2017, his other hit single Take Me Away was released and then his latest mixtape was dropped in December of the same year.
