Safiya Nygaard worked at Victory Gardens Theatre as a library intern and at Abercrombie and Fitch as a sales assistant. During her early career, she appeared in a variety of theater performances, and in December 2014, she launched a demo-reel on her YouTube channel that included a collection of her acting samples.
