Knowles is a motivational speaker, speech and performance coach, and consultant to students, politicians, and corporate leaders. Knowles made his Broadway debut in The Lightning Thief on October 16, 2020, for a limited 16-week engagement at the Longacre Theatre. The New York Times named his performance in their “Best Of Theatre 2019” list after he played nine characters with 25 rapid transitions. Off-Broadway, Knowles featured alongside Christine Pedi, Michael West, Christina Bianco, and others in the award-winning topical revue NEWSical: The Musical at Theatre Row’s Kirk Theatre. Knowles has appeared in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall, as well as other Rockettes projects. Knowles composed and performed “DIG & BE DUG: The Gospel of Lord Buckley” as a solo show for the Planet Connections Theatre Festival.

In 2005, he played “Nick Bottom” in the hit 1950s-style musical rendition of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Fools In Love, for over a year at the Manhattan Ensemble Theatre in Soho. Knowles played identical roles in The Lightning Thief’s First National Tour for 9 months prior to her Broadway debut. Knowles spent a year on the North American leg of Queen and Ben Elton’s worldwide smash-hit musical We Will Rock You!’s 2013/2014 World Tour.
