Regina Banali is an actress, producer, and director. In 2008, she stepped behind the camera after two decades and over 50 film and television roles. She is best known for directing the documentary Quiet Riot: Well Now You’re Here, There’s No Way Back (2014) about the band Quiet Riot. She was an early crowdfunding pioneer, raising the seed money on Kickstarter in 2010. It was quickly acquired by the Showtime Network and distributed globally.
Her first film appearance was as a mermaid in Steven Spielberg’s Hook (1991). She has also worked as a host and a fashion correspondent. She hosted style segments on Today (1952), Access Hollywood (1996), and many other shows, as well as serving as a celebrity style expert as a third chair host on The Fashion Team (2006).
