Hall began his career with advertising and modeling. Hall received his first acting role in 2001’s Lift. That same year, he appeared on Blue Hill Avenue. In 2003, he co-hosted The N reality series Girls v. Boys. In 2005, he played Ty’ree in the miniseries Miracle’s Boys. The next year, he landed the role of Derwin Davis in Game. He played Chrisette Michele’s love interest in the music video “What You Do”. During the 2009-2010 season, Hall played a recurring role on the CBS sitcom Accidentally on Purpose. He took over for Cory Hardrict (the husband of Tia Mowry, his co-star in The Game).
In an interview with The Tom Joyner Morning Show, Hall explained his exit from the television series The Game. We discussed but couldn’t come up with a number. Hall stated that the Showtime series Ray Donovan was aware of his commitment to BET, but it took so long to answer to his agents; yet, he continued to work on other projects. “I never did quit the show,” Hall stated. “When The Game got canceled, I was offered another job and I booked Ray Donovan the next day.” Hall had a guest appearance in the sixth season’s episode “The Blueprint” as well as the series finale. On September 18, 2015, he was cast in A Dog’s Purpose.
