She worked as a news anchorwoman and theatre and art critic for WNBC-TV in New York City from 1973 until 1997. Prior to being a news correspondent, she made television appearances and performed some acting (mainly in Italian films). Marriage Italian Style (1964), The Possessed (1965), and The Queens (1966) are among her Italian features. She won two Emmys for news reporting and on-screen performance, as well as the Associated Press Broadcaster’s Award. She has since retired. She is an actress and producer, known for The Possessed (1965), Rusar I Hans famn (1996), and Sounds Sacred (2001). During points of her career, she worked for WCBS and WNBC, the New York-based flagship stations for broadcasters CBS and NBC.
