Peter Settman Career
Settman began acting in Skärholmen at ten years old and learned at Södra Latin alongside possible Ronny and Ragge entertainers Fredde Granberg and Gila Bergqvist. At age 21 he acted in productions in the adolescent network show Kosmopol on neighborhood TV in Växjö. In 1989 Settman began his creation organization Baluba.
Ronny och Ragge was perhaps of Settman’s most noticeable show. Settman played Ronny to Granberg’s Ragge; the couple was portrayed as commonplace raggare. The characters were presented in a satire of a famous drama, Storstad, and turned into a moment hit. Settman and Granberg included on their own show called Byhåla, which was communicated on Sveriges TV from 1991 to 1993. Upon the idea of Swedish performer Christer Sandelin, Ronny and Ragge delivered their own collection with verses set to Sandelin’s music, which sold 138,000 duplicates.
Settman and Granberg co-featured in shows like Megafon, Äntligen Måndag, Sound system and Bara drug Bruno. They headed out in a different direction in the last part of the 1990s. In 2001 Settman acted in the TV4 show En ängels tålamod, where he played the person Gabriel. In 2004, he introduced Melodifestivalen 2004, and became Melodifestivalen 2005’s maker the next year. In 2006, he began introducing Så ska det låta (There ya go!) on SVT and Sommarkrysset in 2005 on TV4. Between late 2008 and mid 2009, he introduced Dansbandskampen on Sveriges TV. Throughout the colder time of year of 2013-2014, he introduced the syndicated program Settman på plats on Sveriges TV.
