Snell traveled to Minnesota in September 2016 to cover the Ryder Cup, which the American team won for the first time in eight years. In 2015, he reported on one of golf’s rising stars, 21-year-old Jordan Spieth, who won his second career Major, the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay, to add to his Master’s victory earlier that year.

He’s also covered the 2010 U.S. Open Championship in California, where Northern Ireland’s Graeme McDowell became the first European to win in 40 years; the 2010 PGA Championship in Wisconsin; 2005, ’06, ’08, ’09, and ’12 Masters Tournaments in Augusta, Georgia; the 2002 and ’08 Ryder Cups; and the 2002 and ’06 British Opens.
