At the age of nine, she was found by Ford Models and appeared in advertisements for Kohl’s, Boston Store, Sears, and K-mart. In November/December 2009, she was featured on the cover of American Girl magazine. Berelc began taking acting training at the Acting Studio Chicago when she was 12 years old.
