Hermione was a key character on The CW’s Riverdale at first. She was downgraded to recurring status beginning with the sixth season. Hermione Lodge is Hiram Lodge’s ex-wife and Veronica Lodge’s mother. Hermione had a brief affair with Fred Andrews, but their relationship ended when Hermione disclosed that she was the SoDale project’s buyer.
During her husband’s arrest, Hermione and their daughter were forced to leave New York and return to her hometown Riverdale, where she endeavored to transform their family firm, Lodge Industries, into a legitimate company. However, following his release, Hiram reclaimed control of the corporation. Hermione has since become Mayor of Riverdale in order to assist Hiram in carrying out his grand plan to control Riverdale.
