Malin Akerman is a Swedish model and actress who had several small television and film roles in both Canadian and American productions in the early 2000s, including The Utopian Society and Harold & Kumar’s Go to White Castle. She was nominated for a Saturn Award for her performance as the female lead in the comic book film Watchmen. She starred in the romantic comedies The Heartbreak Kid and 27 Dresses and appeared in the science-fiction film The Invasion. Her acting career began after appearing on HBO’s mockumentary sitcom The Comeback.
