Thompson joined the cast of the semi-reality television show Made in Chelsea for the second season in September 2011, after making a brief appearance in the first. The second series premiered on E4 on September 19, 2011. The series ended on November 21, 2011, after ten episodes; however, on November 28, 2011, Rick Edwards hosted an end-of-season party episode in which the cast members reunited to discuss the series.
Filming for the series began on July 29, 2011. This series introduced numerous new cast members, including Alice Davidson, Chloe Green, Jamie Laing, Oliver Proudlock, and Victoria Baker-Harber, as well as the return of Louise Thompson, Spencer Matthews’ ex-girlfriend who appeared briefly in the first series.
