The Summer I Turned Pretty

She appeared as Isabel “Belly” Conklin in the American coming-of-age romantic drama television series The Summer I Turned Pretty. As she and her family reconcile with Susannah Fisher and her two kids, Jeremiah and Conrad (the latter of whom Belly has had a crush on since she was 10), the story follows Isabel “Belly” Conklin, who is set to turn sixteen.

Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher’s relationship with Belly has been influenced by events from past summers as she struggles with growing up and her first love. She learns that taking chances pays off and that change is a given. Belly spends every summer at the Cousins Beach home of her mother’s closest friend. She was the youngest and only girl among the four children, thus as a child, she felt excluded. But Conrad and Jeremiah have noticed a significant change in the past year this summer. Their interest in her gives Belly the feeling that this will be a summer to remember.
