Lin had the opportunity to work on projects such as The Last Samurai, Inception, Star Trek, and over 100 more films and television shows during the next decade, learning from many of the industry’s top directors. Oeding is a professional stunt coordinator and performer who has worked on films such as Straight Outta Compton, The Equaliser, and Olympus Has Fallen. Lin’s pre-viz for “Straight Outta Compton” got the attention of director F. Gary Grey while stunt coordinating, and he was requested to direct 2nd unit for the Ferrari chase sequence as well as the opening crack house breach. Lin followed up “Straight Outta Compton” with “Straight Outta Compton 2.”
Lin’s career took off in both movies and television as a result of “Lifted” and his previous shorts. He has been directing television since 2015, including the Magnum P.I. revival.
