Wu Assassins

She portrays Jenny Wah, a confident young businesswoman with an MBA in Netflix’s Wu Assassins. Jenny is walking into Drunken Watermelon when she notices someone inside and recognizes her brother Tommy being beaten up by the Triad. Jenny receives a call from the hospital informing her that Kai Jin is present and arranges to meet with him. While going home, she meets Kai and drops him off to see Mr. Young.

Tommy tries to get Jenny to pay him $1200 for heroin, but she declines. Tommy admits that he knows Jenny stole money from the Triad and blackmails her, threatening to inform their parents if she does not give him the money, prompting her to give Tommy the money. Jenny eventually participates in an underground combat. A flashback in Misspent Youth shows Jenny, Lu Xin, Tommy, and Kai receiving tattoos before Uncle Six picks them up. In the present day, Jenny returns the triad money to Uncle Six, determined to make money the proper way. Uncle Six agrees with hesitation, but warns her not to disappoint or cross him again. Jenny discovers Tommy in a crackhouse and fights off three gang members who are hunting him because he owes them money.

In Fire Chicken, Jenny takes Tommy to her house, where he awakens. She chastises Tommy for not going to rehab to address his drug problems before leaving to attend to her business. Later that day, Kai Jin returns to Master Wah (Jenny’s restaurant) and asks Jenny to hire him because his food truck has been wrecked. Jenny agrees, as long as Kai can prepare Fire chicken (laziji). After preparing the dinner, Jenny admits to taking a loan from Uncle Six, which irritates Kai because he rejected down Uncle Six’s offer of a new business. Zan kidnaps Jimmy and forces Tommy to be the getaway driver. Jenny finds out, and the two fight, with Jenny losing to her. Later, Kai meets Jenny and discovers that Zan took Jimmy.

The Exorcist

On July 26, 2017, it was announced by Deadline that Li would join as a series regular in the second season of the Fox television series The Exorcist as Rose Cooper. Father Tomas Ortega and Father Marcus Keane try to save Cindy, a woman possessed by a demon following a miscarriage. Cindy’s husband, however, refuses to believe in her possession, preventing the priests from helping her. During one of their tries, the devil gains access to Tomas’ spirit. On an island off Seattle, Andrew Kim is set to meet Rose Cooper, a social services representative with a similar history.

Andrew’s home is appropriate for children, but Caleb, a blind teenager, acts suspiciously. Two Vatican officials arrive to speak with Father Bennet. Marcus pulls an unconscious Andy across the jungle as they dispute. Tomas falls into a trance, and Andy instructs him to record a message for Rose and the children. Marcus kills Andy and the demon, coming out of the hypnosis. Tomas departs with Mouse as a new companion. Bennet awakens and is possessed. Three months later, Rose adopts Truck from a psychiatric facility. Marcus hears God’s voice and whispers Tomas’ name.

Quantico

Following a terrorist attack on Grand Central Terminal, FBI agent Alex Parrish is named as a key suspect. In the present, the Citizens Liberation Front initiates a hostage crisis, prompting the formation of a secret CIA-FBI task group.
