She was cast as Ashley Marin, Hanna’s mother who works at a bank until she is arrested as the suspected murderer of Darren Wilden in the American teen drama mystery-thriller television series Pretty Little Liars. She is released after Mona accepts responsibility for the murder and Pastor Ted, her love interest for a portion of the series posts her bail. She then goes to work for Mr. DiLaurentis. During the five-year time jump, she converted Radley into a hotel and now works as its manager.

Storyline

The series is set in the suburban town of Rosewood, Pennsylvania, and follows the lives of five high school girls: Spencer Hastings, Alison DiLaurentis, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin, and Emily Fields, whose clique falls apart after the group’s leader, Alison, goes missing. One year later, the remaining estranged friends are reunited when they begin receiving messages from a mysterious villain named “A” and later from “A.D.,” who threatens and tortures them for the mistakes and lies they committed and told before and after Alison’s death. At first, they believe it is Alison herself, but after her body is discovered, the girls realize it is someone else seeking vengeance.

Storyline
