With his brother Kyle, cousin Trent, and a few of their friends, he formed the band Hardy in 2016. They’ve played at a variety of fairs, festivals, and bars. He would frequently drive deep into the woods and sing and play his guitar alone. When he learned that ‘American Idol’ would be returning to New Orleans for another season on ABC, he was overjoyed.
