She relocated to New York City for her career. Curran studied theater at the Actors’ Playhouse conservatory near Broadway throughout the first and second grades. After failing to locate film-related employment in Miami and New York, Curran began attending the British Academy of Performing Arts in Marietta, Georgia, and the Renaissance International School of Performing Arts in Milton, Georgia. She is homeschooled as part of her preparation for a career in acting. Curran’s debut production was Madeline’s Christmas in Coral Gables, Florida. When she was ten, she was cast as Young Nala in Julie Taymor’s Broadway version of The Lion King.
In 2015, she was cast in her debut feature role, I Can I Will I Did, which was released in 2017. While residing in Georgia, she auditioned for Stephen King’s horror thriller Doctor Sleep and was cast in the starring part of Abra, a girl with psychic abilities, opposite Ewan McGregor. Following Doctor Sleep, she began working on the Disney Channel series Secrets of Sulphur Springs as Harper. Kyliegh will have a lead role in Disney Channel’s forthcoming live-action time travel mystery series “Sulphur Springs,” set in a haunting hotel. She plays ‘Harper,’ a bright-eyed, mystery-obsessed kid whose friend ‘Griffin’ has recently moved into a hotel that is said to be haunted by a girl who went missing decades ago.
