She left Northwestern University during her sophomore year to star in the 1991 film adaptation of Father of the Bride, but later returned to complete her theater degree. Renee encountered Sherloque Wells in 2019 at CC Jitters, where he attempted to captivate her. They eventually reconciled, and Renee disclosed that she was a meta-human. They started seeing each other, but Renee didn’t reveal her identity.
When Cicada II used the meta-virus to attack the city, Sherloque fled to Central City University in search of Renee. Sherloque explained that she was avoiding him because of her secret. Cicada II appeared and attacked Renee with a blazing dagger. Sherloque alerted Team Flash, who found Renee’s abilities. Renee used them to move a metal bench in front of Cicada’s dagger, but Cicada got away.
Renee was concerned about Cicada’s plans to kill her again, but Sherloque informed that there was a method to prevent this. Sherloque transported Renee to CCPD, where Caitlin Snow was delivering a meta-human treatment. Renee departed since she was worried whether the cure would permanently remove her powers. Sherloque indicated that Renee would be safe on another Earth and that he came from Earth-221. Renee invited Sherloque to join her on Earth-221, but he chose to destroy Cicada first. The two said their goodbyes, and Renee left for Earth-221. Harrison Sherloque Wells’ first ex-wife has not been identified.
