Raver began her acting career at the age of six when she was cast in the 1975 educational series “Sesame Street.” Years later, in 1999, she was cast in the crime drama ‘Third Watch’ as Kim Zambrano. ‘Martin & Orloff,’ a 2002 feature film, marked her feature film debut. Two years later, she was cast as “Audrey Raines” in the action drama “24.” That same year, she starred in ‘Mind the Gap,’ a multi-story comedy film that jumps back and forth between multiple stories that eventually connect. Raver starred as Kathryn Hale in the 2006 and 2007 sitcom ‘The Nine.’ She appeared in the fantasy-comedy ‘Night at the Museum’ (2006).
The actress debuted as Dr. Teddy Altman in the medical drama series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ in 2009. She then had recurring roles in “Revolution” and “24: Live Another Day.” Following a guest appearance in the crime procedural drama ‘Bones’, Raver played Madeline Faulkner in the 2015 anthology series ‘Full Circle’. Two years later, she appeared in several episodes of ‘APB’ and ‘Ray Donovan.’ In 2018, she played Andrea Frost in the political thriller drama ‘Designated Survivor,’ and she also voiced Captain Marvel in ‘Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors. Raver appeared as Dr. Andrea Frost in the second season of ABC’s political drama Designated Survivor.
