Karan Adani joined Adani Ports & SEZ Limited in 2009. (APSEZ). He took over the company’s operations in 2016. He led an acquisition campaign for the Kattupalli port in Tamil Nadu in 2018. (about 30 km from Chennai Port and adjoining the Ennore Port). The port was purchased from Larsen and Toubro, making it the tenth port in the APSEZ network.
He was appointed to lead the Adani Group’s airport projects in 2019, including Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Jaipur International Airport, Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Mangalore International Airport, and Trivandrum International Airport.
