Kadeem Hardison is an American actor best known for his portrayal as Dwayne Wayne in NBC’s sitcom ‘A Different World’, a spin-off of ‘The Cosby Show’. He is well noted for his role as Craig Cooper on Disney Channel’s ‘K.C. Undercover.’ He currently appears on Showtime’s smash comedic series ‘Black Monday’.

Hardison made his acting debut in 1981 on an episode of ‘ABC Afterschool Specials’. He made his big screen debut four years later in ‘Go Tell It on the Mountain’. In 1987, he played Dwayne Cleophus Wayne on NBC’s ‘A Different World’. He played Edge in ‘School Daze’, a musical comedy drama film about fraternity brothers battling with other children at a historically black college, a year later. That year, Hardison also appeared as Willie in the action comedy ‘I’m Gonna Git You Sucka,’ opposite Keenen Ivory Wayans, Bernie Casey, Isaac Haye, and Antonio Fargas. In the following years, he had roles in various movies, such as ‘Def by Temptation’, ‘White Men Can’t Jump’, ‘Renaissance Man’

Hardison began as Charles Gordon in the sitcom ‘Between Brothers’ in 1997, which followed four African American males living in Chicago. That year, he also played Antoine Tyler in the sports comedy ‘The 6th Man’. He then appeared in Ernest R. Dickerson’s film ‘Blind Faith’. He joined the recurring cast of ‘Static Shock’ in 2000, playing Adam Evans until 2004. During this time, the actor appeared in the films ’30 Years to Life’, ‘Showtime’, and ‘Biker Boyz’, as well as the sitcom ‘Abby’. From 2006 to 2007, he played lawyer Howard Gemeiner in the drama ‘House’ and participated in the sitcoms ‘Just for Kicks’ and ‘Girlfriends’.

Hardison was cast as Judge Harry Watkins in ‘Everybody Hates Chris’, a period sitcom based on the teenage experiences of famed comedian Chris Rock. In 2011, he was cast as Detective Pars in the mystery thriller ‘Escapee’. Two years later, he had a recurring role in the series ‘Cult,’ which centered on a production assistant and a journalist/blogger who investigate a string of disappearances tied to the television show ‘Cult.’ Following this, Hardison joined the main cast of ‘K.C. Undercover’ as Craig Cooper. In 2016, he appeared in the horror comedy ‘B.C. Butcher’. In 2019, he began playing Spencer in the comedy series ‘Black Monday’.
