Juno Temple, whose full name is Juno Violet Temple, is an actress from the United Kingdom who is known for her roles in such films as “The Other Boleyn Girl”, “Wild Child”, “Atonement”, “Maleficent”, “Killer Joe”, “Black Mass”, “The Three Musketeers”, and “The Dark Knight Rises”.

For her many roles as a supporting cast member, she has received great critical acclaim. One reviewer said she played her role with petulance and fear in Notes on a Scandal, while her performance was called outstanding in Atonement. The film is loosely inspired by the Disney film “Sleeping Beauty” telling the story of Maleficent and her conflicted relationship with both the king and princess of a corrupt kingdom. Juno has a supporting role in this film playing the character of Thistlewit, one of the three fairies, the green fairy. Thistlewit is the youngest of the fairies, is very cheerful and talks without much thought most of the times. Juno reprised her role in the 2019 sequel of Maleficent, “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” still as the motion-capture and voice of the green fairy, Thistlewit.

Atonement is a romantic war drama film released in 2007 based on a 2001 novel by Ian McEwan by the same name. This film revolves around the Tallis family and is about a crime that leads to consequences for over six decades, beginning in the 1930s. Juno is among the film’s cast, appearing as 15-year-old Lola Quincey, a cousin of the Tallis siblings who comes to visit.
