Later, in Brothers & Sisters, he played Dr. Simon Craig, Nora Walker’s (Sally Field) love interest. In 2013, he co-starred in TNT’s King & Maxwell with Rebecca Romijn as Sean King, a former Secret Service agent and lawyer who works as a private investigator. The show was canceled after only one season. He was cast in a recurring role on Shonda Rhimes’ drama series Scandal in 2014.
