John Oliver is a comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host of British-American origin. From 2006 until 2013, he was known for his work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Oliver received three Primetime Emmy Awards for his writing and served as a guest host on the show.
