Chestnut’s sixth consecutive victory came in 2012, when he ate 68 HDB, tying his own world record from 2009. Chestnut won his seventh consecutive title in 2013, eating 69 HDB, breaking his previous world record. Chestnut won his eighth consecutive title in 2014, devouring 61 HDB.

Matt Stonie defeated Chestnut in the 2015 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.
