Garcia appeared as Jasmine Flores, a classmate of the group, who has a romantic obsession with Ruby in the American teen comedy-drama television series On My Block. During Season 3, she and Ruby become romantically involved. Four teenagers begin high school in the tough inner-city Los Angeles community of Freeridge, where their longstanding friendship is put to the test. Ruby, Cesar, Monsé, and Jamal, four best friends at Freeridge, start high school together. Cesar admits to Monsé and her hidden love affair, shielding her from Oscar, a gang member. Monsé pushes Ruby and Jamal to work together, but Oscar strengthens his stance against Cesar. Ruby’s parents welcome Olivia, a family acquaintance, and she develops feelings for her.

Monsé and Cesar confront several challenges, including the homecoming dance and a theft. Jamal assists Frankie in tracking down his girlfriend, best buddy, and the stolen money. The dance is canceled, and Monsé proclaims Cesar dangerous. On Halloween, the group goes trick-or-treating and meets Frankie’s girlfriend, Rosé, and his best friend, Li’l Rickey. Olivia kisses Cesar, but he understands she’s not into him. Cesar flees for his life during lockdown and hides in Ruby’s house.
