Jesse began his acting career as Oliver Twist in the children’s theatre production ‘Oliver!’ at the age of seven, and he was an understudy in the 1996 Broadway revival of ‘Summer and Smoke & A Christmas Carol’. With Arje Shaw’s play ‘The Gathering,’ he made his professional debut. He made his television debut in ‘Get Real,’ and he also appeared in a Dr. Pepper commercial. He then went on to appear in the television film ‘Lightning: Fire from the Sky’ and an independent film ‘Roger Dodger’. He also appeared in ‘The Emperor’s Club,’ a 2002 film.
