Jenny Taft Fox Sports North

She began her journey with Fox Sports North (FSN) as a sideline reporter and regional affiliate for Minnesota Lynx. She worked as a Fox Sports North sideline reporter for the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx. She was also a social media contributor for Minnesota’s Timberwolves, Twins, and Wild sports teams, as well as an in-stadium/arena host at Twins and Wild games during her time as an FSN Girl. Taft attributed her later career success to getting on-camera repetitions at FSN.

Taft’s broadcasting career began in 2011 with Fox Sports. She was promoted to the FS1 news and highlights update team in August 2013. Her first assignment at FS1 was as a track reporter for a Supercross race in 2013. She also covered the United States women’s national soccer team at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Taft began her college football reporting career in 2014 as part of FS1’s game coverage. Taft was promoted to lead college football sideline reporter in 2017, joining play-by-play commentator Gus Johnson and analyst Joel Klatt. Her responsibilities at FS1 grew significantly as she covered the NFL, MLB, and the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

In 2018, she filled in as a host and moderator on various FS1 shows. That summer, it was announced that Taft would take over as moderator of Skip and Shannon: Undisputed, which was hosted by Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe. On September 5, FS1 launched CFB: Inside Slant, a weekly college football show hosted by Taft.  Despite taking on these new roles at FS1, she continued to cover college football games on the sidelines for the 2018 season In 2020, she worked as a sideline reporter for Fox Sports’ XFL coverage. Taft also got into an on-air spat with Skip Bayless after Bayless made disparaging remarks about Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy based on his weight and appearance.
