Janet Varney is an actress, comedian, writer, and producer from the United States. Varney is best known for her role as Korra in the Nickelodeon animated television series The Legend of Korra. She first appeared on television in 2004 as a guest on the Comedy Central debate show Crossballs.

Varney created, produced, and starred in Fortune Rookie, an eight-episode web series presented by IFC, in 2018. Varney took over as host of the TBS cooking and entertainment show Dinner and a Movie in 2005, succeeding Lisa Kushell. She appeared in each episode alongside Paul Gilmartin and Claud Mann, introducing films and injecting humor during the preparation of a creative dinner for some themes.
