James Daly Biography
James Daly is the proprietor of 2030 Media, a Northern California content creation company, and a journalist from the San Francisco Bay Area. Most recently, he introduced the TED conference’s line of ebooks, TED Books. Daly worked as the main editor for cover stories that helped Wired magazine win the 1996 National Magazine Award for General Excellence while he was a features editor there.

In addition, he oversaw the 2004 relaunch of Red Herring as Editor in Chief. Daly oversaw the establishment of Business 2.0, a worldwide biweekly business journal, at the end of 1997. Business 2.0 debuted in July 1998 and went on to earn over a dozen editorial honors, have a paid readership of 350,000, and six worldwide editions.
