Storyline

Sophie is horrified when she learns out Cora is trying to film a sexually confident depiction of “A Way Back into Love,” with an Indian vibe. She’s determined to persuade Cora to give up the arrangement, but Alex is vetoing her attempts for fear of losing Cora’s goodwill.  He and Cora are singing the tune as Sophie and he meant it to be sung. The end of the film (a tribute to VH1’s Pop-Up Video) shows that the single becomes a success for Cora and Alex.

Storyline

Rachel Watson is an alcoholic who has lost her career and her life. She’s fixated on the lives of her ex-husband Tom, his new wife Anna, and their friends Scott and Megan Hipwell Megan, who worked as a nanny for Tom and Anna but had recently left. Rachel becomes furious when she sees Megan kissing a stranger and wakes up in her blood-covered bed. Megan was found murdered and scans confirmed she was pregnant, but neither Scott nor Abdic was her parent.

A now sober Rachel recalls that she caught Megan’s encounter with Tom on the day of her disappearance, and he beat her as she attempted to confront them. Realizing that Tom killed Megan when she declined to give up his child, Rachel warns Anna, who knows. As both women confront Tom about his affair with Megan, he gets furious, drops a drink on her stomach, and then knocks her unconscious. Rachel stabs him in the throat with a corkscrew, and Anna appears, twisting it further into Tom’s neck, killing him.
