Hunt joined the CBBC continuity team in 2002, and she has subsequently appeared on the CBBC Channel, BBC One, and BBC Two. She was discovered by CBBC’s Xchange in 2004 and went on to become a presenter till the show ended in 2006. She continued to present CBBC until it was revamped in 2007. In addition to her hosting duties, she has made guest appearances on Blue Peter and Smile.

She recently appeared on Best of Friends as a guest presenter for the cuisine special alongside Ortis Deley. She collaborated with Barney Harwood on the CBBC series Barney’s Barrier Reef, which premiered on BBC Two on Monday, January 12, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. The show returned for a second season, now called Barney’s Latin America. She also had a live appearance on the CBBC Channel in Office on August 5, 2010, and is the primary presenter on Swashbuckle.

Hunt featured in the 2007 Chucklevision episode “Muscling In”. She presided over a strong man match between Barry Chuckle and the cheating man mountain Magnus Sorenson. She has also performed in pantomimes. In 2007/2008, she played the lead in Cinderella at the Palace Theatre in Mansfield. Hunt co-starred with fellow CBBC presenter Barney Harwood as Tinkerbell in Peter Pan at the Pavilion Theatre in Bournemouth in 2008 and 2009. In 2012/2013, she costarred with Jennifer Ellison in Peter Pan at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley. In August 2009, she and Harwood hosted a BBC Proms concert titled “Evolution!” at the Royal Albert Hall in London, where they interviewed Sir David Attenborough.
