Bean played Caitlin Freeman, the daughter of Shara Freeman in the season sixteen Grey’s Anatomy episode Give a Little Bit. Caitlin grew unhappy with Meredith because Shara’s operation was postponed. Meredith attempted to reassure her. Gail Bean Snowfall
She plays Wanda Bell in the FX series Snowfall. Wanda Bell-Simmons is Leon Simmon’s girlfriend, first appearing in Season 2. She married Leon in Accra, Ghana during Season 6. She develops a severe crack addiction and even steals some of Franklin’s merchandise for personal use. Leon eventually stopped his relationship with her. She then joined Manboy and his crew in a plot to hijack one of Franklin’s shipments; however, Franklin and Manboy reached an agreement on the condition that the Crips abandon Wanda, who later becomes homeless and broke. After the Bloods attempted to kill Leon, she was wounded and taken to the hospital. She was able to overcome her addiction after leaving the ICU.
She was homeless and sought shelter at the Edgewood Shelter. Shortly after Alton and Cissy left for Cuba, she was given a place to stay in Franklin’s old home and began working as a sex call operator for Johnny B. After her check was skimmed to cover her boss’s tracks, she confronted him about it and quit. She was recently hired as a temporary employee at West-Side Development.
