Freddie Stroma Pitch Perfect

He appeared as Luke, the station manager of Barden University’s radio station, WBUJ on the film Pitch Perfect. Luke owns and operates WBUJ as well as 85.7 FM, Music for the Independent Mind. His southern English accent says he was raised in the south of England. He initially appears in the film when Beca approaches him about working as a “intern”. He informs her that she is not permitted to enter the booth because she is a freshman. Jesse subsequently enters and reveals himself to be the other intern, and Luke urges them to get along but that there will be no sex on the table and that he’s been burnt before.

Beca later hands him her pendrive so he can listen to her music. He assures her he’ll throw it in with the rest of them. Later in the film, Beca hears her music on the radio and goes to meet Luke, who loves her music and put it on. Luke is composed. He may also be classified as a cool person because, as seen in the deleted scenes, he attends college parties.

The idea that Luke is a severe person is implied in the film because he admonished Jesse for being late and cautioned the interns not to engage in sexual activities at the radio station’s desk. In one deleted scene, Luke is revealed to have played Beca’s music because Jesse had bugged him to do so.

Freddie Stroma in Harry Potter

Stroma is most remembered for his role in the film adaption of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as Cormac McLaggen, the belligerent and self-assured Gryffindor seventh year. He played this character again in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2.

Cormac McLaggen was a wizard and a member of the McLaggen family, which was well-known in the Ministry. From 1990 until 1997, he was a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was assigned to Gryffindor House and was one year older than Harry Potter. McLaggen missed out on trying out for his house’s Quidditch team in his sixth year after eating poisonous Doxy eggs on a bet, but he was promoted to reserve Keeper in his seventh year. During his final year at Hogwarts, he also joined the Slug Club, escorted Hermione Granger to the club’s Christmas party, and was primarily responsible for Gryffindor’s humiliating loss to Hufflepuff by hitting Harry Potter (Seeker at the time) over the head with a beater’s bat.

McLaggen, like most Gryffindor students, fought alongside the Hogwarts defences in the climactic battle of the Second Wizarding War. McLaggen survived the combat, but it is unknown what happened to him after the war.
