Frankie Jonas Career
Jonas provided the voice for Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film Ponyo, which was released in American theaters on August 14, 2009. He portrayed Ssuke, a character who is befriended by Ponyo, a young fish who aspires to be a human girl (voiced by Noah Cyrus). They both sing the film’s theme song. He was a recurring character in the Disney Channel Original Series Jonas, for which he received the Teen Choice Award for “Choice Breakout TV Star Male” in 2009. His first film role was as Junior Rocker Trevor in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, alongside his older brothers the Jonas Brothers.
He also appeared in the E! reality show Married to Jonas, which followed Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle through their married life, including the Jonas Brothers’ late 2013 comeback. Jonas released his debut track, “Shanghai Noon,” on SoundCloud in June 2017. He uploaded “Appa” on the same platform less than a year later. He produced Alli Haber’s song “Too Young” in January 2019. Jonas had 1.9 million TikTok followers as of July 2022. Jonas signed a contract with UTA, the agency that represents his three older siblings, on March 31, 2021.
