Storyline

Storyline
Tommy DeVito, his brother Nicky, and their friend Nick Massi perform as The Variety Trio in Belleville, New Jersey in 1951. After Nicky leaves, “The Four Lovers” is in need of a songwriter. Tommy is given a slap on the wrist, but he is sentenced to six months in prison. The band is renamed The Four Seasons after a bowling alley sign, and they perform “Sherry,” a new song written by Gaudio to the tune of “Walk Like a Man.”In 1990, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Valli reconnects with his estranged daughter and regrets not being a better father to her when she was younger. Tommy now works for Joe Pesci, who went on to win an Oscar for his performance in The Godfather. The band performs “Rag Doll” onstage for the first time in over two decades.
