Erica Gimpel Chicago Med

She portrayed Bethany Anderson in the Grey’s Anatoy season six episode Invest in Love. Bethany was in the hospital with her son, Wallace, who was suffering from short gut syndrome. She and her husband requested a meeting with a board representative and the Chief, and they stated that Arizona should accompany them. During the meeting, they revealed their intention to gift $25 million to the hospital, half of which would go toward continuing research to discover a solution for Wallace’s disease and half to the hospital itself.

When they discovered Wallace had another intestinal obstruction, Arizona Robbins urged against surgery, stating she wasn’t sure he’d make it. Instead, she advised them to prepare themselves and Wallace. They pushed her into surgery, and she went through with it. Wallace survived the procedure, but developed sepsis and died during a subsequent surgery.

Arizona approached them while they were packing Wallace’s room and asked if they wanted to see Wallace. They said they did, and Arizona drove them to the morgue, where they saw Wallace’s body and Bethany began to perform the “bad dreams” routine she’d done for Wallace when he was still alive. When she was unable to continue, Arizona did so on her behalf.
