David Boreanaz is an American actor, television producer, and director best known for his roles on the Fox television crime procedural comedy-drama series Bones; United States Navy SEAL Master Chief Special Warfare Operator Jason Hayes in the CBS/Paramount+ military drama series SEAL Team; and vampire-turned-private investigator Angel on the WB/UPN supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spinoff Angel (2017–present).

Family – Education
Boreanaz was born in Buffalo, New York, where his father Dave Roberts (born David Thomas Boreanaz) was a weather presenter and host of the kids’ program Rocketship 7 for ABC affiliate WKBW-TV. Travel agents made up Patti Boreanaz, his mother. Bo and Beth are his two elder siblings.On his father’s side, he has both Italian and Slovene ancestry. His mother is half Slovak, Irish, German, French, and Swiss.
Boreanaz and his family relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, after his father accepted a position at local ABC affiliate WPVI-TV. Boreanaz was raised Catholic and attended Rosemont School of the Holy Child in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, before graduating from Malvern Preparatory School in Malvern, Pennsylvania, where he was an avid athlete and member of the school football team. Surgery
Boreanaz had reconstructive surgery on his left knee’s anterior cruciate ligament in 2004, as a result of a running injury sustained in high school that was not properly repaired at the time. SEAL Team – Military
He portrays Jason Hayes from the SEAL Team. Jason Hayes is a Navy SEAL and the Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9) of Bravo Team; as team leader, he is known as B1, or Bravo 1. Angel
She appeared as Angel on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off Angel. Angel was a ruthless vampire noted for both his villainy and heroism. The Kalderash people cursed him in 1898 for murdering their favorite daughter, condemning him to an eternity of guilt. In the late twentieth century, Angel became an ally and lover of Buffy Summers, the contemporary Slayer. Angel relocated to Los Angeles and became a Champion, dedicated to aiding the hopeless through Angel Investigations.
Angel took on the identity of Twilight and formed a cabal of humans and demons to prevent the birth of numerous Slayers. When Angel rebelled against Twilight, it possessed him and fought Buffy in Sunnydale, ultimately defeating Twilight by destroying the Seed of Wonder. Angel became catatonic after being purged.
After awakening, Angel and Faith Lehane dedicated themselves to atonement, resurrecting Rupert Giles and confronting the insane Whistler. Angel convinced Whistler to sacrifice himself. After the world was saved, Angel decided to stay in London and assist the inhabitants of the newly established Magic Town.
