Dave Meyers Foolish

He is the director of the 1999 comedy-drama film Foolish.

Storyline

Quentin’s “Fifty Dollah” Waise is involved in a crime ring that makes him a decent deal of money but concerns his grandmother Odetta. Fifty Miles “Foolish” Waise, Dollah’s brother, is an aspirational comedian who has his nickname Odetta, but his failure to carry on his career has convinced his older sister to waste talent. The film pays tribute to a number of Griffin’s idols, including Redd Foxx, Robin Harris, and Sammy Davis, Jr, who appear as their feet in toilet stalls as he gets ready.

His images encourage Foolish to do well in shows, which are often seen and which last are planned to keep bar clients drinking. But he has house difficulties with the young girlfriend and the son. Fifty Dollah seeks to give him as much drive as he wants, but he is distracted both by problems with criminal Eldorado Ron and by a painful love triangle between his brother and the girl they both love.

On the basis of 16 reviews, the film has an evaluation of 28/100, which indicates “generally unfavorable reviews.” Two stars gave Empire Magazine to this film, saying that the image was completely less than the original.

His career included several hundred nominations and 12 MTV music awards, including the MTV Video Music Award for Best Video of the Year 2003, 2011, 2017, and 2018.
